Word has been received in Centerville of the unexpected death of Mrs. Ella M. Bair Hill, at her home in Pasadena, Calif. Thursday Aug. 19 [1943]. Daughter of the late Robison and Annie Baker Bair, she was born Oct 1, 1876 near Fredericktown. Early in life she became a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist church and spent her entire life in this community until she moved to California 31 years ago. Her husband Jesse G. Hill survives with two daughters Miss Beryl, at home, and Mrs. Lenore Bart, Pasadena; one son Wayne, of Los Angeles; one sister Miss Edna Bair, of Oakmont, PA; two brothers, Charles of St. ...Hill, Pittsburgh and Walter of Canonsburg. She also leaves 4 grandchildren.
